What we collect
Nothing. All data you enter in Branded Mustang — horse names, photos, story moments, notes, decoded freeze marks, origin information — is stored only on your device using local storage. None of it is ever sent to us or any third party.
Third-party services
Branded Mustang does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services.
The app includes a link to the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Program lookup tool (reports.blm.gov). Tapping that link opens an external government website subject to the BLM's own privacy policy. We have no control over or affiliation with that site.
Photos
If you add photos to horse profiles or story moments, those photos are accessed once — with your explicit permission — and stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or accessed by anyone other than you.
Device permissions
Branded Mustang may request permission to access your photo library when you choose to add a photo. This permission is only used to let you select a photo. We access only the specific photo you choose, and only when you choose it.
Children's privacy
Branded Mustang does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of children's information being shared.
Data security
Because all data stays on your device, its security is managed by your device's operating system and your own device security practices (passcode, Face ID, etc.). We never have access to your data and therefore cannot be responsible for data loss due to device failure, theft, or reset.
Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce features that involve data leaving your device — such as an optional cloud backup — we will update this policy, notify you in the app, and require your explicit consent before any data is transmitted. Cloud backup, if added, will always be opt-in and clearly explained.
