1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Branded Mustang, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Branded Mustang is
Branded Mustang is a personal record-keeping and storytelling app for Mustang horse owners. It lets you decode BLM freeze marks, save horse profiles, and document your horse's story locally on your device.
3. Your data is yours
All data you enter in Branded Mustang stays on your device. We do not collect, access, store, or own your horse profiles, story moments, photos, or notes. You own your data entirely.
If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it. There is currently no cloud backup. If you get a new phone and do not transfer your device data, your records will not transfer. This is a known limitation of the current version.
4. Accuracy of freeze mark decoding
Branded Mustang provides freeze mark decoding based on the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Alpha Angle system. Decoded results are provided for informational and personal use only.
Branded Mustang is not affiliated with the BLM. For official records, always verify through the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Program at reports.blm.gov.
5. Photos
By adding photos to the app, you confirm that you have the right to use those photos. Branded Mustang stores them locally and never accesses, transmits, or copies them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use Branded Mustang only for personal, lawful purposes. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute the app or its design.
7. Intellectual property
The Branded Mustang name, app design, and content are owned by Branded Mustang. The BLM Alpha Angle symbol system is a U.S. Government standard and is not owned by Branded Mustang.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Branded Mustang is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that decoded freeze mark results will be accurate in every case.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Branded Mustang and its owner are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data stored on your device.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service over time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Branded Mustang LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
